Snapshot

The quest for justice in Palestine is the seminal rights struggle of the modern era, representing one of the last colonial holdovers from World War II. In the wake of WW2, Palestine endured a massive ethnic cleansing campaign and land grab by Zionist terror groups, culminating in the birth of Israel. First thought to be a safe haven for Jewish refugees fleeing the holocaust, Israel has instead played the role of the Nazi perpetrators, inflicting unimaginable suffering, violence, and deprivation upon the Palestinian people with the goal of erasing their identity and physical existence. Israel has also inflicted great trauma and violence on Jewish communities, cleaving them from their neighbors in an attempt to replace the actual Palestinian population, and using fear and intimidation to silence global dissent. For over 75 years, Palestine has been subjected to this brutal military occupation and an apartheid regime of racial and religious domination, sustained through successive wars on its tiny, isolated territories. The most recent wave of genocidal terror began in 2018, during the Great March of Return - a peaceful march demanding an end to Israel's suffocating siege on Gaza. Israel attacked marchers from land and air, killing dozens and deliberately maiming hundreds of men, women and children. This campaign has now reached its end stages as a full-scale genocide in progress.

Genesis

Home of Jerusalem, one of the holiest cities on Earth, Palestine had long been a symbol of religious harmony and cultural tolerance, with a rich and vibrant society and economy. One of the first acts of colonial violence on Palestine was to erase this reality, claiming the land as 'without people' while Zionist gangs terrorized the population into fleeing and turned canons and heavy armory onto its architecture and landmarks. As tens of thousands of Palestinians fled their land and homes in the Nakba, or catastrophe, in 1948 they took the keys to their homes with them, waiting for the violence to stop so they could return. It never did. The criminal gangs donned suits, preying on the plight of the Jewish victims of the holocaust to gain legitimacy as a state. In the ensuing decades, Israel has forcibly expanded itself across Palestinian lands, as well as elsewhere in the region, maintaining a brutal military occupation through American and European aid, and waging war after war. Despite the enormous violence and criminality of the Israeli occupation, Palestinians have never given up on their commitment and fight for a free and peaceful right to exist.

In 2023, Israel launched a genocidal campaign against Gaza, a tiny Palestinian enclave that was suffering under a 15-year long siege. Using the excuse of a deadly raid by a Palestinian armed group, Israel appears to be enacting a "Final Solution" plan against the population, including:

  • Deliberately targeting children for murder, injury and detention, preying on the most vulnerable to create fear and terror. See report.

  • Widespread and systematic use of sexual, reproductive, and gender-based violence to eradicate Palestinian families and lineage. See report.

  • Systematically murdering journalists and intimidating them by attacking and killing their families and colleagues to prevent the documenting of Israeli war crimes. See report.

  • Unprecedented kidnapping, torture, and murder of healthcare workers - doctors, nurses, medics, and first responders - collapsing Gaza's healthcare system. See report.

  • Deliberate destruction of Palestinian culture, including the bombing of theaters and libraries, and the targeting of poets, writers, and academics. See Report.

  • Deliberately maiming men, women, and children, shooting them in the limbs, groin, eyes, and spine to cause permanent disabilities. See Report.

  • Conducting broad environmental devastation by uprooting hundreds of trees, salting the soil, and introducing invasive species to eradicate indigenous horticulture and plant life. See report.

  • Creating a high-tech draconian surveillance apparatus, including low-altitude drones, subjecting Palestinians to 24-hour monitoring. See Report.
